I have always sought after
things that cannot be taken away (knowledge, confidence, security) or
ripped from my life in a moment. The lessons I have learned in working
I will certainly carry with me for the rest of my life. Whatever the future
may hold I can trust that God has a plan. There is a perfect plan involving
a perfect criteria involving people, time and events which must first
take place. More importantly, there is a specified time to every direction
God leads.
When God's time is fulfilled
everything seamlessly meshes, creating an overwhelming, endless desire
and unquestionable clarity of direction. God has perfect vision. He puts
people and circumstances in our lives that are perfect for us: Perfect
Friends, Perfect Families, Perfect Careers, Perfect Loves, and even perfect
enemies. All are perfect pieces fitting God's perfect puzzle whether or
not we see the full picture. Sometimes the road to joy is quite rocky,
and occasionally we all need help to build a bridge,
(or 2 or 3?)
I will always be grateful
for all the many things I have learned as the direct result of working.
There is nothing quite like the dignity of performing up to one's potential
and feeling exhausted and accomplished at the end of the day. For me,
the road to career has gotten a somewhat later start. I chose to marry,
establish my family, (and ultimately divorce), prior to even seeking a
qualifying degree. I have been blessed beyond measure in being given the
gift of working with companies and individuals who were able to see the
talent, potential and vision within me even before I was able to see it
for myself. Here is my tribute to careerthe begining steps of a
long and prosperous road that defines a small part of who Iam and what
I am striving to become .
